Unity Parent Support

"Supporting Parent and Child Relationships"

We deliver a high quality package of support for schools, parents, children, young people and their families tailored to the indidivdual need; including social, emotional well-being and family cohesion.

At Unity, we believe in providing a personalised service. Our wealth of knowledge, experience, and skills gained from working with schools, families and the community make us the perfect partner to support you with your parental needs.

We work with numerous schools to provide access to support for children, young people and their families within the school environment.  We can also work with you on an independent basis with the initial consultation being offered at no cost.

About Us

Unity Parent Support was founded by myself, Kim Green and I have dedicated my entire working life to education.

I started my career in education when my own children were in nursery turning my hand to childcare, reading, and washing up paint pots...this is when I got a taste of how things were on the other side of the fence.

Just like many parents I often wondered what children learnt through play; I was quite surprised. This is where my journey began.

As I saw the children flourish, my enthusiasm and need for training developed; I found myself wanting more. I enrolled in numerous childhood courses stemming over a period of 10 years, finally achieving my childhood studies, certificate of education and BA degree. No mean fete as I was caring for two small children too!

I strongly believe that we all should be given every opportunity and the support to empower us to achieve our goals, no matter how big or small.

Therefore, I decided to set up UNITY, to ensure that I could share my own knowledge and experience with others as an educator and as a parent.

UNITY Parent Support continues to believe in the Every Child Matters (ECM) outcomes launched in 2003. These were one of the most important policy initiatives to provide opportunities and develop programmes for children, young people, parents and families. Its goal, which continues to be embedded in supporting children up to the age of 19 years old, 24 years for those with disabilities. This is to ensure every child from whatever background or circumstance is given the chance to achieve their potential; empowering them to be the "Best they can possibly be"
